Pennsylvania State Government
During my time at Shippensburg University, I have been fortunate to have three different internships within the state government. Look below to see some of my work with the PA Department of Agriculture, PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and the Office of Governor Shapiro.
Department of Agriculture
Since 2022, I have been a press and digital intern with PDA. In this position, I have covered various agricultural shows such as 2022-2024 PA Farm Shows, 2022 Keystone International Livestock Exposition and 2022-2023 All-American Dairy Shows by interviewing attendees, photographing events, crafting press releases and curating social media content.
Department of Conservation and Natural Resources
From May 2023 to August 2023, I worked as an intern in DCNR's communications office. Through this experience, I traveled to 15 state parks across 10 Pennsylvanian counties shooting video and photos, interviewing DCNR employees and park enjoyers and assisted with press events.
